On the weekend of Sept26th troop 35 began to work on the Historic Trails Program by Hiking the Wilkerson Trail at the Saratoga National Park. 9 Scouts successfully Complete the 4.5 Miles . After the hike was completed the troop set up their camp site for night at cooked their meals over the camp fire. although the rains came at night as it usually does when we are camping, the boy remained upbeat about the weekend and all made through without any major problems/ The third part of the award will be held on Saturday November 7th @ the Stillwater Blockhouse as they take part in a reenactment

The 2009 Fall Court of Awards dinner was recently held on Saturday October 3rd at the Stillwater United Church. . After Dinner was served , the evening continued with award ceremonies held for scouts who have advanced in ranks The list below is of all Scouts who moved up in rank

The 3 Life Scouts along with current Life Scouts Jonathan Brewster & Ryan Wichelns will now begin to work on the final step of their Boy Scout Years by Completing the Highest rank in Scouting , The Rank Of Eagle Scout. With alot of hard work, desire and determination, these five scouts should reach this great milestone of Eagle Scout in the year 2011. After the rank ceremonies were a completed the parents were treated to a video presentation of their sons at Summer camp, followed by presenting all the awards from camp which are listed below. This was by far one of the best weeks we have had at camp in a very long time with a total of 16 Scouts attending camp -

Both Patrols earnded the Thunderbird Honor Patrol Award
The Troop also earned the Baden Powell Honor Troop award which was presented to our Chartered Organization, The Earl J. Manning Post 490. Recieving this award on behalf of Post 490 was Phil Callarusso.
